For the past couple years the term “User Experience (UX)” has become a very common (and important) term within advertising and marketing departments. Back in the day the most important part of designing a website was making sure it worked. If you had a website that functioned than you were ahead of the game. Nowadays it takes much more planning and thought to reach online marketing goals. With technology expanding there are more devices that can access the internet, connection speeds are much faster and readily available, and programming code has advanced to allow more flexibility and less restriction on design and functionality. Therfore, more time and resources have been devoted to creating a UX that ensures better quality leads, lower bounce rates and higher conversion. Below is a link to an interesting artcle explaining what UX Design entails and why it’s importance these days.
